The EPANDIX 8700 with the Weighing option has been awareded the “INELd’OR” top award, by the Press Group “La France Agricole” during the SPACE 2009 exhibition.
AGROTRONIX won the top ward in the machine category with its equipment Epandix 8700, a spreader application rate control system.
The INEL awards have 7 categories and are given by the Press group La France Agricole. The aim is to encourage innovations in farming. In the farm equipment category, the Epandix 8700 has been awarded the golden award for this 19th edition. The criteria held by the jury consisting of end users and technical farm experts are user-friendliness, regulation of spread quantity control and finally an outstanding accuracy for this type of equipment.
The EPANDIX 8700 is the flagship product of Agrotronix, stemming directly from its engineering research and development department and holds 3 original patents.
The EPANDIX 8700 is an intelligent on board DPAE electronic system (proportional flow to the forward speed) for various types of spreaders. It allows to control the quantity of material spread on the processed area according to the speed of the tractor and the gate height.
The 3 AGROTRONIX patents for the Epandix 8700 are :
- The weighing by extensometry (AGROTRONIX Patent) which allows a better estimation of the weight in the trailer by strain gauges sensors installed on one of the axles and the
- The gate outline follow up system which is a Cemagref Patent with exclusive licence granted to AGROTRONIX
- The gate height measuring (AGROTRONIX patent)
The EPANDIX 8700 with weighing option has been designed to ease the farmer work while respecting the European directives of environmental protection within the framework of the treatment of the plots of land. With the EPANDIX 8700, the farmer obtains a better quality of work thanks to the accuracy and the homogeneity of the spreading and the traceability with the USB key or printer.
The Epandix 8700 is nowadays the most successful equipment on the market in its category. A special effort was made for the comfort of the user with the electronic measure of the gate in real time directly in the cabin. This height is automatically taken into account in the belt speed control.
